I bought a few old pearwood cues in order to get a donor shaft to repair a cue that parcelforce broke for me.

Maybe just leave a notification on ebay , and see what turns up ?

Might ask martin daly of tyrone cues, he works with pearwood shafts.

Tony Glover had a Pear plank , last time I asked . He could cut you one , also B & W Billiards used to have Pear as well .

I'll drop Tony a line and Martin is already on the case.

I've also emailed a few timber merchants, but pear does not seem to be that easy to get hold of, but perhaps I'm not looking at the right merchants.

No worries mate, yes they used to do a fair bit of pear as well as their bomb proof cases.
