When i used to clean tables , i would stick beer towels down the pockets to prevent the dust from going down them .

Preventing copious amounts of dust on the balls when you start playing .

EXCELLENT TIP! I will be borrowing that one and calling it my own. In all my years I have only ever cleaned the runners when I've replaced them on tables.

So obvious and will help heaps.
