I recognize the name but don't have a grasp on his history. I think longbomber will have some details though. He made the first century break in Canada in 1923 in Winnipeg I believe.

Must be silly season again.. The most I can remember a machine spliced cue going for was around £550 - the previous owner paid £90 for it, and I turned it down at that price!
I'm sure someone will remember one going for more..

would it matter to a collector that a cue is machine spliced if it's a rare one,i mean you see those Burwats selling for £200 plus on ebay which im sure burrouges & watts manufactured about 20 billion of the things

I was taking Burwat mate not sure about barway cues, any cue is worth what ever you like if someone is willing to pay the price I suppose

Anyone know what a maple Mannock is worth? It has the original Burroughes & Watts badge. Of course these were machne spliced but think this one is a rare one.
