    I dont play pool, but it makes sense to have the black ball easily recognisable. Even if it's just so it stands out for folk watching.

          They were used for the WR home internationals over the weekend so bought a set from the SEPF

                  I have had a set of these for over 6months; they are great... I find they break much better as they seem to run further. We use them for all league games and any of our in house money tourneys. May not be for everyone but I would say only about 5 people said they didn't like them when they first tried them, and since then 3 of them have changed their opinion over just a few sessions. Only way I know to get them for £60 is if you know someone who plays on tour, if not I think the going rate is £85-£90. (Biggest negative is all the non pool players asking you why your white has chicken pox).
