unfortunately you will find no wikipedia article about the history of phc in english.
maybe worth a try to translate the german article with Google or something else.
i was there a few times...it was always a very nice time.

I forgot to set the recorder. Doh!

It's recording now. Looking forward to seeing the rest of this.

you missed the Guodong vs Holt, 4-0 to Xiao
Holt did play well but a few unforced misses and loose positioning allowed Xiao to take the frames.

I did manage to catch the end of it. Goudong played well from what I saw.

Allen vs Walker is going to be interesting. I can see it being 4 - 0 to Allen unless he plays badly.

                  EDIT:-

Mark nonchalantly throwing in a wonderful starting century and clearance.

I see Jimmy White is playing Ahmed Saif. Should be a easy win for White as I don't think I've seen Saif win a match in a long while. I think Saif is in the record books for loosing a match without ever scoring a single point.

With the greatest of respect to Jimmy, is any match an easy win for him any more?

Well if he can't win against Saif then he should just put away his cue and retire.

                          EDIT:-

I see White easily beat Saif. Well done Jimmy.

Missed the first frame of the Ronnie match thanks to the world snooker site saying he started at 1pm! Great.

It wasn't brilliant. It wouldn't surprise me if Ronnie hasn't been on a snooker table since the Worlds. He'll soon come good though.

nice second frame, although started on a fluke! Looked to be getting into his stride alright though.
