    Default Looking for a cue maker

    A request from a friend of mine, hes looking for a cue maker to make a cue using only ebony butt, ash shaft to his requirements. Wants it weighing 17.5 but weight only from wood, no additional weights fitted inside.

    What are your thoughts and recommendations?

    Without adding weight 17.5 would be difficult for a one piece ash, what are The cue specs?

    you might end up with the weight and balance in the wrong place if try and get to 17.5 without adding any weights.

    Yes with a joint it's more doable as it acts as a weight.
    I made this with No weight and with 22" splices and it turned out just over 16oz.
