    Default New to Snooker

    Hey all,

I'm fairly new to this game of snooker as I have started playing for about a month or so?

Just wondering, what is an efficient way of practicing to improve in aspects of the game?

    Do drills help?

    Cheers!

Hi, welcome to the forum. It certainly helps to have some structure to your practice rather than just knocking balls around. There's some guys on here

Find somewhere cheap to play, maybe go to more expensive venues when you feel a bit more confident. Maybe talk to people at your local snooker venue.

Drills do help early on in the learning curve. If you can get the basics correct (in terms of technique) and then master certain shots that frequently
