  • Announcement of wildcards of China Open 2017

    CBSA has announced the wildcards of China Open 2017 at 7 Feb 2017.

    They are:
    1.Li Yuan(National - 6)
    2.Niu Zhuang(National - 7)
    3.Luo Honghao(National - 23,Youth - 2)
    4.Fan Zhengyi(National - 41,Youth - 3)

    Fan Zhengyi is now the student of Snooker Acedemy

    Luo Honghao made a 147 in an event recently. He seems to wear a glove while playing.

    Don't know much about the others. Surprised about the absence of Yuan Sijun and Xu Si, especially as Xu Si is likely to be on the Tour next season would have been good preparation.

      Therefore Xu Si cannot receive wildcards because of U21 World Champion.

        Who gets to play the wildcards? It used to be that the lowest 4 ranked players would but that obviously isn't the case now. What are the current rules?

            1.Li Yuan(National - 6) lost to Jimmy White 5-1.
            2.Niu Zhuang(National - 7), beat Alex Borg 5-4; then lost to Ricky Walden 5-1
            3.Luo Honghao(National - 23,Youth - 2) lost to Li hang 5-1
            4.Fan Zhengyi(National - 41,Youth - 3) had a walkover over Robbie Williams; then lost to Martin Gould 5-1

              Lets face it there are tons of them coming off the Chinese snooker player production line.



              Any Won Willdo - he's a good un

              Whatever happened to that one called Long Wang? - loved that guys name - yes he was a real player - did not need to use extension much apparently
