The British open billiards will be held at the Portland Club in Carlisle on the 16-17 of November this year, if anyone is interested in playing ( ?20 entrance fee) ,or just come along and appreciate the skill of these players, it should see all the top players attending . We held a comp a few years back and Peter Gilchrist played in it, it's just mesmerising watching him keep those three balls under control, it's well worth a watch.

Would like to watch the top players' play , I struggle to roll up behind a baulk colour ! Their touch shots must be amazing .
Hope you manage to get a few along to watch the skill .Still trying to pot as many balls as i can !

I recall Stephen Hendry talking on the subject of roll-up (baulk colours) and have used it myself ever since- play the roll-up with top so you never stop short

Thought I better update this as entries have closed as there are 57 players in it ,so as it's only over two days they have closed it, thought I would mention it in case anyone thought of turning up on the day and trying to enter.This is how you play darts ,MVG two nines in the same match!
