  • 24th of May is the Queen's Birthday!

I read this wonderful quote and saw this stunning artwork by England's Banksy and putting two and four together,
it reminded me to mention that today, May 24th,
is a national holiday here in Canada... YES!

"The first thing you need to know about Goldman Sachs is that it's everywhere.
The world's most powerful investment bank is a great vampire squid wrapped
around the face of humanity, relentlessly jamming its blood funnel into anything
    that smells like money."

Following the death of Queen Victoria in 1901, May 24 was by imperial decree made Empire Day
throughout the British Empire. And it was an Empire. She was the Empress on top of the World!

Soverign of the Royal Family Order of King George IV

Sovereign of the Distinguished Service Order, United Kingdom
Sovereign of the Royal Victorian Order

Of course, for us snooker fans, Queen Vic ruled India when Neville Chamberlain invented the game of snooker
at the officer's mess of the 11th Devonshire Regiment in Jubbulpore (Jabalpur), India in 1875.

The Victoria Day holiday is colloquially known as May Two-Four in parts of Eastern Canada a double entendre
that refers both to the date around which the holiday falls (May 24) and the Canadian slang for a case of twenty-
four beers (a "two-four"), a drink popular during the long weekend, but for the first time ever, this weekend,
    banned from national parks

    CHEERS!

      No.
Shame on you for even thinking such a thing!
Queen Victoria might have said "Bad boy! Go to my room right now!"

The Victorian Era was covered in modesty and kink.
For instance, the sensual and well-turned legs of chairs and settees were often wrapped
      with velvet skirts, for modesty-sake.
The Victorian Empire was one in which she was basically able to make the world her bitch.

      That's what I meant mate.
