    Now I have your attention have a read of this article.

    A LEEDS entrepreneur fears his businesses may be shut down after being the victim of an alleged fraud.


    Gary Hendrickson, owner of Taste café in Chapeltown, told the YEP he is in dispute with landlords Unity Homes and Enterprise after an employee rent collector allegedly pocketed two years of rent, worth £13,000.

    Hope he gets it sorted , Can't believe that the Landlord took 2 years to work out out that they had not banked any money !
    Still trying to pot as many balls as i can !

      He obviously has a lot of it and trusted somebody way more than you should ever

        Seems very harsh on the tenant though, he even has receipts of payment. Hope he manages to get this sorted out

            If the person collecting the rent was an authorised agent for the landlord and the receipts used were approved by the landlord, then the landlord has no action to the tenant but the agent, or so I sincerely hope so, ?

              Sounds like there is more to it than meets the eye, if it's got to county court judgement stage before the alleged fraud has been investigated? There would have been a hearing to determine what was owed when the receipts and any other evidence would have been considered.
              No one is listening until you make a mistake!
