  • Cost of Shipping

    Hi everyone,

I sold my cue and some guy in china won.

I was just wondering how much does it cost roughly to send over to china.

The cue will be sent in plastic tubes and the guy says he wants the cheapest possible frieght or something like that.

Any replies will be much appreciated.

Almost all parcel services offer to pick up the parcel at you and ship it to them.
The cost are a bit higher but from UK to Germany it is in my case cheaper than most of the offers i get from UK sellers. I do not know why.

So you can ask the buyer to give the order to a parcel service to pick it up.
You don't even have to write the address label. This is done by the courier.
I am confused... Oh wait... Maybe I'm not...

If you can weigh the packed item go to www.royalmail.com and you can work out the exact postage including insurance.

it will be too long for royal mail. try here.

        or

        http://www.parcel2go.com/

        or

        http://www.interparcel.com/

one of these is usually the cheapest but prices also depend on where you live!

Basic rate is about ?30 if you shop around, but if it is an expensive cue the extra insurance can double that easily.

If it was on ebay then you can send it to the global shipping centre and only pay postage for that, ebay will then send it on to china from there and the buyer pays for that. If it's a one piece then it's too long, if it's a 3/4 then post the two parts in two shorter plastic tubes taped together with a strong duct tape and it wiil be fine.

you can email the postal services and specify the size of the parcel. They'll tell you the price. It's going to be a big load. These are not standard sizes

At the moment, I would not risk sending a parcel to China or getting something from there
