Saw one of those in a sleepy little antique / second hand shop in south Wales a few years ago, it wasn't much money and looked to be in very good condition. Lovely bit of history.

        • If anyone watches The Repair Shop on BBC2 there was one restored on there a little while ago.

          • yep they did (a repeat by the way) a smaller version not as embellished and was a Harold Holt scoreboard, and supposedly from a house once owned by Joe Davis (IIRC)

            • Well James Cahill knocked out Ronnie using his Mike Wooldridge cue - that he paid for with his own money... also nobody uses English ash anymore - there isn't any!!!

Next thing i know the listing is removed due to comparisons to parris in the wording because i factually stated a cue of this grade from parris is around 5 years of waiting. So obviously the russian rodent reported the listing and the dribbling gimps at ebay somehow believed whatever gibberish laden spiel he told them.

i'm actually quite amazed by this exchange. couldn't make it up! ebay removing your listing on those grounds too, utter tosh! you'd think this fedia chap would just mind his own business but something's obviously grating him

A h&0 cue, it baffles me when one of these appears it invariably has been shortened, or has a smaller tip size, or both.

You sure he's using a wooldridge cue now? Seen a post a while back saying he had switched to parris.

                    • I also have seen that he switched to Parris,

ADR does not say that he is NOW using MW; just responding to the idiotic question by the ebay seller to name a pro using a MW cue

Not sure if still is, but Xiao Guodong did use a MW cue.

That xiao kid, he's had cues from every maker, he buys ultimates off people on facebook etc. He's probably a part time cue dealer.

                            • Allan Taylor was using an MW cue, not sure if he still is? Not on the TV often enough to see him sadly.
