Interested in your thoughts on this Narl, looks decent for such a cheap cue brand. ( I find it fun to search both ends of the scale )

    • Bought an extension from that sun-mall person last year, good seller but took long time, i think he's based in China.
Cue looks lovely but i shouldn't be looking at cues, already got 7

Haha! I know, me neither but it's still a source of enjoyment so hey ho! I feel as long as I "clear out the broom cupboard" so to speak, I can make room for another.

Enuff said! Maybe not for the "display cabinet" but fun for the players rack!

            Thanks.

            • I bought one off of Ebay for an ex-pro for 35 pounds , with David Wu named on the badge . And I kid you not , the cue is absolute quality .

We both reckon that you could re-badge it with a number of different makers badges and no one would know the difference .
Still trying to pot as many balls as i can !

Yep, David Wu is Grands top cue maker apparently. Seen a couple of old ones on EBay recently and starting bid was ?150!! So you did very well for your friend Neil.

I love the fact that there are great "players" out there for not a lot of money, makes it fun to tinker a little without major commitment.

They only went up after they were talked about on here . You could pick one up for around 50. Then they went up considerably.

Possibly legit, the bottom splices weren't added by parris as they will usually rebadge a cue as "special" if its altered to look different from the stock model.

Yeah seen that one on facebook, has to be said the more splices and veneers you add to a cue the harder they all are to keep inline. But they did produce a video where John himself says that "no detail is too small to make sure it's right". Not even the splicing but the shaft itself looks pretty average for a 1k plus cue.

LOL, yeah totally legit, that's a fine badge installation and a nice random joint.
