Apparently this is what passes for an ultimate these days.

Compare that to the shaft on a 250 quid maximus legend i had a few years back:

The pressure on the ridiculous backlog of these cues has them badging up anything half decent as an ultimate. I can honestly say i';ve seen better looking shafts on club rack cues.

Not intended to be a dig at parris but the proof is in the pics, maybe if they done away with the handplanes and went to electric they would be able to get these cues cranked out a lot faster. Makes zero difference to the final product in terms of looks or playability so why stick with a now archaic method?

Weirdest listings ever, i've seen him post before with similar images, the auction runs the course and nothing is ever updated.
Well I would not be bidding!

People really seem to have delusions when they get one of these cues that it's like they won the lottery.
The splice finger levels at the bottom are way out on this cue too! :torn:

If that cue sells for ?2k I think I will have to get a different job.

He has it listed as a "black label" as well despite the badge obviously being red.

At the minutes there's 2 on ebay. a black plate that's only 55" and a starting price of 2k and this maple one.

People (or chancers I would call them) have realised there is a place in the Global Market to buy a coveted cue makers cue. There are many very wealthy Chinese business men etc who just want to add a cue to their collection, one which without EBay chancers, would be difficult to come by.

In in the world of supply and demand, any item is worth what a certain someone will pay.... The chancers are dangling their lines in the water and hoping for a big fish!

It doesn't even have a sd lock at the end, looks like you need to take it apart to put the extension on, i'd expect a one piece for even half that price.
No way that will sell imo.
