James Butters 3/4 cue

Saw this on e-bay.

Looks nice to me may have a stab at it at the current price.

Any thoughts from you knowledgeable people?

James makes a nice cue and I have had a few off him to sell new.
For a used cue I think £170 was quite a high price.

I tend to sell them between £130-£160 new depending on the quality.

I also prefer the standard joint rather than the hidden versions.

All his cues are sold as "used", though I'd expect a badged one for that price.

I suppose it's what people are willing to pay that'll decide. .

I had an impulse bid at £130 and stopped there. I agree £170 is a bit steep.
Bitter could you elaborate on the joint, the hidden one looks quite cool. I guess you have a good reason to prefer the standard version.

Wasn't that long ago his un-badged cues were making £90!

I bought my unbadged one direct from him for £85 delivered.

I was quite pleased with that.

Just seems every decent cue is making stupid money on EBay at the moment. Yes £85 delivered sounds like a bargain!
