I bought a plastic extension before and it wasn't great quality. The threads were off and it cross threaded, so I never got to use it.

Tbh, it’s only just over a tenner more for the official one . I might take the plunge with that one and tell the missus I won’t be taking her out on Saturday

Mine seems fine, screws on tight. green baize sell them but it's just over £30 with postage, so you're looking at more than twice the price.
