Industrial rollers for 8ft table
Hi all. I'm new here and have a perhaps odd question.
I have an 8tf x 4ft table and the room is just ever so slightly too short on the long side. So shots on the rail can be a bit awkward.
There are many solutions - including getting a smaller table - but I had one idea and wanted to ask this group if this exists or has been done before.
The idea: place the table on industrial rollers with very slow motor so I can move the table 6 inches to the top or 6 inches to the bottom. Slow enough balls wouldn't move. And this would give that little bit of space for the tight shots.
Might seem overkill but I really think the 8ft table is so much better than a 7ft. Snooker can be played and pool is much more competitive.
Anyone hear of something like this before? Or pointers where where to enquire about being bought or even fabricated?
