yeah, am regretting not buying a screw in but have just bought a telecue extenda from a TSF member for a fiver. that will do for now until i can raise funds for a screw in

once u screw-in u will never push-on again....
The push ons do not feel anywhere near as solid once at full stretch
control doesnt feel as good
i found myself not only generating more spin with the screw in, but the little soft touch shots are easy also
why buy a good cue and then use a poor extension? every bit of ur equipment is important, from the tip to the extensions

Screw in for sure. Feels like a cue, as opposed to the push-in which doesn't feel very solid. Also, most push-ins that I have seen lose the padding on the inside.

RGC is right.. I'm with him. It would be better to go for screw, and surely you won't regret

i too agree with rg on this matter, i used to own a push on extension but much prefer the screw on's as you get a better feel with them, thats on the basis if your cue can except a screw on extension

the proper (telecue is it?) extensions are alright, they won't do any damage they just bug me and might not fit in your cue case.
but the cheaper you go the less padding you get on them basically. especially when this wears you can end up with bare plastic.

surely the push-ons cant be that bad in terms of scratching the cue's butt, considering john higgins and judd trump use them, and presumably other professionals

why didnt you buy the screw in extension with your cue? then youd have no worries about fitting and you would only pay postage once.
screw in feel more secure and push on extensions often wont fit in your cue case so you have to carry seperately.
i wouldnt buy the cheap push on extensions they tend to be less padded and some worry me about scratching the cue butt.
