If that's your first attempt at making a case Les I think you have done an fantastic job! What type of wood did you use for the frame?

get the brass/nickel corner protectors on as well
a brilliant effort there Les, to me the channels look a tad wide for the components, I am sure when the top is down it holds them tight
like the shallowness to enable easy pick up

ps, where's your chalk and cloth?

now, I need a case extra wide.... how much?

Hi guys I decided to give this case building a shot and build my own one Peice case for my GBL. I have to say I really amazed myself. This one was done with a heavy imitation leather, next one I am going to attempt sewing the suede and leather,

The end protectors are growing on me a bit ! I think they look good on some cases , I don't have them on mine as when the case is worn I make a new one lol. I might look in too offering these as an option in the future .
Glad your case was well received Jim it does look good with the protectors on

Just received my Brass end protectors from Les147 today. Had them installed in about 15 minutes. I had my case at our tournament this weekend and Jim Wych had a good look at it and said it was a great looking case and well made and a bargain price.
