    OK, thanks. I've seen similar over here across the pond but they seem to be very coarse and gritty. I would have thought they would tear up a tip.
    The bitter taste of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

      If turning the cue upside down and hitting the tip with a ball or a hammer, don't put the butt on the floor or you'll be putting alot of stress on the ferrule and end of shaft. Hold the cue up with your free hand or place the butt on something very cushioned to absorb the impact.
