                    on MW's website he states that his shaft and butt joints where interchangeable - in case for those tables with a wall in the way

                              I may be wrong but O'min use the spiral type joint for butt joints not for shaft joints.
                              Ton Praram uses the same as butt joints, from what I recall from a friend's TP cue.

                              Aeon used them for shaft joints.
                              I think the Aeon is a bit chunkier at the base; and the O'min has a very sharp edge to the screw edges.

                                Not sure if you've had this one mate, interesting one its a centre pin air lock with stainless collars, so it gets wood to wood still. It's an ADR147 Thai made cue.
