Locally we have a great sports club with many snooker tables in it (green cloths) and 7 pool tables (blue cloths).
Obviously if you have blue cloths then great but I haven't pushed it as I still don't know if the blue cloths are common enough.Comment

It could be due to long term use without having the grains filled.Comment

His cue has been like that a few years now, just wear and tear with the amount they practice and play. If you go to stamford cues site they have a gallery showing how worn ding and selby's cues were before they got extended and refinished.Comment

It’s quite shocking that most pro’s don’t know the first thing about cue maintenance. Ding’s cue even had a hole in it!
But I think there’s more to this then that.
If it was the chin causing it the wear would only be on the bit where he holds his cue, but it’s not, it’s all the way round.
Even Trump’s cue has it and his cue is fairly newComment
