  • ANTIQUE CUE ~ To drill or not to drill?!

Hi all, could someone please provide me with some advice as not sure what to do here.
Just purchased a very nice "Tom Newman 1274" but the weight is loose at the base of the butt where the peg is.
Not sure whether to have it repaired or not as the cue is totally original.

I say get it done too, it's the first thing a buyer would do if you were to sell it anyway.
I know some collectors would say it would lower the value, but I've never bought a cue and thought "Oh I'd have paid even £1 more for it to not have been reweighted".
