  • Volume of a table when crated

I had asked this as a PM to Geoff but then thought it might be of interest to others. How many cubic metres is a table when it is crated for transport? I realise it will differ according to the type of table but what would be a useful average? I shall need to know this next year when, eventually, I buy my tables for Europe.

My 10' table here didn't come crated as such. The factory is only a few miles away so it just came literally in pieces on a truck.

    On average 3.6 cubic metres.

        Philip:

Just a quick question. Did you mean 'for' or 'from' Europe? Reason I ask is there are pretty good table manufacturers in China and both the WPBSA and IBSF are using them. Or perhaps you're moving to Europe at end of term?

It is "for" europe. It is a bit complicated. Read your emails.
