  • Riley full size circa 1913 in BARN

This Riley full size is the most common seen in Turned leg form around the clubs

the client was looking for alow cost table from ebay , this one came in at a shade over £150 to purchase the table , our intrsuctions was to collect from near Gainsborough , transport to near loughborough and install in an old Barn on a country house estate .

We recovered the table in 6811 Tournamnet and replaced the nets and leathers , also supplied a S/H set of ball rails as old one's where falling apart .

The Barn is unheated at the moment but the client is installing a large Log burner and is also putting oil filled radaitors under the table , the Barn is very large and we could fit in three full sized tables with room to play around all of them .
The table looked very rough when we stripped it down , but I think looks very presentable after the Recover , the frame has some sunlight bleaching on one end and down one side where it was against a patio door in it's old location .
they are not serious players and this will just be a bit of fun for his Boys who are aged around 10/12 years old .
nice early xams present from Dad .

The table was only £150 thats £51 more than a wood bed argos table .... but I know what you mean it's not just the purchase of the table it's the cost of removing it , recovering and new nets and leathers , and the transporting and rebuilding of it ...plus the Barn to put it in .
