Sticky both here, and at my place in Bulgaria, in summer. AC is a requirement. I am pleased to say I have AC in both snooker rooms.
I have AC in my Snooker Room in my basement and have installed heaters. These heaters keep my table between 22 and 23 C. They also keep all dampness out and do not take much hydro. I have been running them for 4 months now and never shut them off. Below is a link to them, I bought mine off Terry Davidson which bought them but never installed them. Forget heating your balls just heat the table.

I don't mind giving the table a brush in the club, but I'm not paying for table heaters and air conditioning !
This is how you play darts ,MVG two nines in the same match!

Sorry, Luke, I should have read your posting more carefully. Under the circumstances I don't think there is much you can do. Come and play in one of my rooms during your sabbatical if you would like.

Ha ha would love to, but i don't think my missus would be happy travelling that far.
looks like i will have to find a new club to play at as the humidity is silly he has the kitchen door when he's cooking open into the snooker room and by the sound's of it he isn't ever going to put air-con in let alone re-cloth any table's.
