Looking at the full detail of the new EASB calendar for 2010-11 it seems that 13 new venues have been added, which brings the tournaments to a much more local level. Hopefully this will attract more players.
It's good to see places like the Stephen Hendry Snooker Club in Preston, Salisbury Snooker Club, Castle Snooker Club in Brighton and Pockets in Kidderminster all hosting events.
I understand that there were further clubs approached to host events but they couldn't be bothered to respond!
