    Well I tried today with only top spin and its ridiculously difficult...got too frustrated after about 4 attempts and gave up. That being said its not a very useful drill in my opinion...very seldom will you only ever have to use top spin in that kind of situation so not really a big deal.

    Not sure, I've never done it! But yeah, you're right if you take the balls in sequence. Apparently it can be done easier with link balls, taking alternate balls up the line and then back down. I think this would involve a lot of criss-cross middle pocket potting. Staying on the 18" lines is more important because you can't use stun/run-through/screw to correct position. Getting too close to the object ball invites danger.

    haha damn that does sound pretty difficult...you'd have to get essentially just off straight or straight every shot and criss cross your way up id imagine.

    Great stuff! You're ready for part II with Pottr, same objective, only this time you can only use top spin, no cushions allowed. Doubling may come in handy. If you can't do it with just top spin, mix plain ball with top spin, and then maybe do the topspin challenge later. The topspin challenge has never been done to my coaches knowledge. Good luck.
