  • New leagues for Hampshire, Wiltshire and Dorset

CUESTARS is launching five brand new scratch leagues across the South of England.

Invitations are about to be sent out to the top players across Hampshire, Wiltshire and Dorset.

The leagues are based on the highly successful Cuestars South Wilts Snooker League, which is in its seventh season.

Cuestars director John Hunter said: “These leagues are about providing players with good match practice and a title.”

Only the first eight players to respond from each of the five areas - South Hampshire, North Hampshire, North Wiltshire, West Wiltshire and Dorset - will be considered.

Matches, which kick off in the first week of February and are played fortnightly, consist of five frames. One point is awarded for each frame won with a bonus point for the match winner.

Players meet each other once during the season, which is due to finish at the end of April.

There are no handicaps. Only Cuestars members are eligible. Entry fee is £15.
