  • Harvey in seventh heaven

SEAN Harvey’s phenomenal unbeaten run continues on the Frames Sports Bar Championship Tour.

Surrey snooker star Harvey has now won all four tournaments this season.

The 34-year-old from Longcross narrowly beat 16-year-old Jamie Wilson (Havant) 3-2 in the final of the Parris Cues-sponsored leg at Salisbury Snooker Club.

In fact, rankings leader Harvey, who pocketed ?100 prize money, has now won all of the last seven events he has entered on the Cuestars circuit.

Steven Hughes (Chandler’s Ford) and Craig Marsh (Thatcham) were the losing semi-finalists.

Dale Prout (Newbury) laid claim to the day’s champagne moment. After a 3-0 first-round exit to Jack Smithers (Epsom), he compiled breaks of 83 and 84 in a 2-0 Plate victory over home player Steve Ashton.

He also managed to see off Andy Bannan 2-0 in the semis despite his opponent from Andover posting a 60.

But his run ended in a 2-0 defeat in the final to Neil Herd (Frome), whose Attic Life business sponsors Main Tour professional Billy Castle.

Harvey leads second-placed Wilson by a staggering 42 points. Hughes is third.
