This is not snooker-related, but it is on the current topic...

I'll throw this out there:

If anyone is interested in setting up a forum for any other sport offered on the bbc message board, I would be willing to provide the forum and hosting for free if someone wants to be in charge of running and promoting it.

This would be an opportunity for you to keep your other sports groups together and have a say in how you want your forum to be operated.

Let me know if anyone sees any merit in this.

austrian_girl, I really like the simple format. It all went down the drain with useless premoderations and some madmen who registered around last WC. But the board itself is classic.

Well, that is sad news. It seemed like a very dedicated base of members and that is always hard to come by.

If anyone wants to help promote the snooker forum and give some members there an option for a forum, I would appreciate a plug for TSF . I know this board is not as clean cut functionality-wise as the bbc board, but I feel we have a great, friendly environment and have much to offer.

Tough loss for the hard-core bbc members...
