  • New member after advice

    Hi All

Just joined the forum, and looking for some advice.

I use to play every fortnight with the brother and uncle, nothing serious and we all just used the house cues.

However, im now joining a couple of lads on a Friday night every week - i thought it was time i purchased a cue

What would you suggest was a good 'budget' value for money cue, around the £50/£60 mark?

    thanks in advance

it was not meant to be smart arse mate - genuinely was trying to be helpful but don't want to give the impression that cues can only come from me so would rather you researched a bit - sorry if it came across cheeky.

No worries, sorry if i was abrupt with the response.

I guess i'm just after advice - snooker will always be a hobby of mine so wanted something relatively cheap

My missus wouldnt allow me to spend the money ive spent on my golf clubs on a cue as well hehe

lol generally with snooker only very serious players spend a lot of money, otherwise the expense is the beer and the lights!

                      My point exactly lol

I have my golf membership, and custom made clubs which is my main hobby

Snooker is all about the beers and a laugh with our group at the club. I just thought i'd upgrade from house cue with the banana shaped shaft

thanks for your input though, much appreciated
