Agree with vmax , noticed Robertson ignored the crowd either side of him as he descended the stairs today, Barry was smiling broadly. Missing blacks off the spot won't help Barrys cause . It would be fantastic if he beats Robertson

Just wondering if all this talk about the rowdy crowd creating the best atmosphere ever will eventually turn every crowd into the snooker shootout mob.
I think many are shouting out during play at Ally Pally because they're wearing a mask and therefore can't be spotted or pointed out to the stewards.
Just my twopenneth worth as I don't like it, it ain't football and I don't understand supporting an individual person, like those morons in australia protesting about Djokvic, as if he/she was your local/chosen football team

Shouldn't we snooker people be better than that, after all we are when we're sober.

I'll second that, would love to see him lift the masters trophy.

Hopefully he plays better than he did in his last Masters final. But yeah, Robertson looks kind of vulnerable, so anything could happen tomorrow.

Trumps cue ball has been pretty poor tonight.

I did wonder about that shot, the backspin of the white transferring to topspin on the OB, but wasn't sure if it would work in pro conditions with their pristine balls, so I opted for the following through white instead. Wouldn't fancy either tbh, horrible situation.

Well yet another brilliantly poised match at what I think has been a superb Masters so far. Really delivering on all levels, some people may think the crowd is a bit raucous but haven't heard one player moan about the atmosphere yet!?!?

Can anyone explain, given the position of the main camera, plus taking into consideration the way perspective works, how the end of the table which is further away, looks wider than the end which is nearer?

Yes, very good analogy. Although it only applies when I can actually tell what he’s saying.

I guess Williams didn't really deserve to win it in the end. Giving away foul points is one thing, but he had a couple of pot attempts at the last red as well and got nowhere near. Should have potted the second one really. And he did have that fluke earlier in the frame as well.

One thing I was wondering... I can't quite picture the physics of it, but when the red was on top of the black, in line with the pocket, was it possible for Williams to play it in a way that would have guaranteed the red following the black in? If so, that seemed like the shot to play. It would have taken 8 points off the table, so Robertson would have had to play for two snookers on the colours.
The very same thought occurred to me , but it might seem a tad unsporting , MW must still be regurgitating his food into his parrot bowl

Is it just me or is the WST's website too slow today? I saw this when I checked it a few times.
