yes, it's been good hasn't it. Nice clearance from Oli to take the 9th frame on the black, thought he might miss the blue but knocked it in sweet as you like and perfect on the pink. Decider please lads.

I would like Lines to take it either way, this frame or a decider
it would be a great scalp for him.

It's a bit boring without commentary even when Ronnie is playing

Lawler is still playing vs Tian Pengfei. Odd isnt it?

                        5-4 Lawler.

That is 4 hours + 20 mins. give or take.

I hope he has a coach and is practising a lot as he
seems to have a ways to go in his snooker game to
be more competitive. I am not sure if he has played
in China yet but good luck to him for sure.
did you see the tweet from Matt Selt about his match?

Alex certainly needs to beat players like Matt
and advance to further matches. He has a lot
of work to do yet for that but its a start.

I agree, he needs to work on his snooker if he is to win a pro match or two but don't know how his time looks with his pool schedule. Unless he can get in a lot of snooker practice I don't think he can effectively compete against the pros although I think he's close as he proved in Q School recently. Now that there's a really good facility in Toronto when the Corner Bank opens perhaps he can get good practice as the tables in the other clubs are really not too good. He needs a table which duplicates pro conditions to practice on.

I would love to see a Canadian or two get onto the pro circuit but maybe that's just a pipe dream at this stage. We have no younger players coming through at all as only a couple of juniors played in the Under-21 Canadian Champs this year and the standard wasn't very high.
