    Here we go again...

The BBC's pressure has already caused the cancellation of the Grand Prix, the dumbing down of the UK Championship and the Welsh Open, and now this... Hopefully Barry Hearn realizes in time what damage the BBC is doing to snooker and decides not to renegotiate their contract. It's just not worth it.

They hardly ever show more than an hour in the evening this days anyway and had no 7pm snooker on bbc TV till Saturday during the UK last week.

So what difference does it make to them really?

Could it apply this year as tickets have been on sale for a while unless they offered refunds for people I suppose.

Hasn't Barry Hearn said he would leave the WC format unchanged quite a few times since becoming the boss?

    Crucible Theatre, Sheffield. Format Change

Hi all this as just been posted on the Crucible Theatre, Sheffield, faceook

Barry Hearn Speaking today: said the World Championship format could be changed in future possible all matches best of 19 frames until the Final (best of 35 frames) as the BBC Sport Television want to reduce frames. Hearn always want to leave the format alone at the world championship but things could be change in future.
Working...
