  • Lisbon Open (ET5) Dec 10 - 14

    It will interesting to see how the crowds are
    in this new venue and I hope it goes well.
    Many of the big names are appearing and it
    will be interesting to see how they play.
    World Snooker begins coverage on the 12th.

        It's good to see that Kreativ Dental will be sponsoring
        all of the European Tour events next year. Hopefully
        this will encourage other companies to consider being
        a sponsor.

          I may not be able to catch some until the evening, and then a few hours Saturday. Might help myself to a few of the cans from the fridge though.

            Last tournament in Portugal had a very poor crowd, I hope this time will be different.

                Maybe, I live near Lisbon. It's good chance to watch a live event.

                    definitely make the effort to go, you won't regret it
                    earlier this year myself and some friends went for the first time to a pro event (Welsh Open) and thoroughly enjoyed every match and ball hit
                    we already have the week at next year's :biggrin:

                        Thanks Dean thats very kind. I have been to London
                        twice to visit a dear friend in Golders Green but that
                        was several years ago when I had some spare money
                        and my health was much better. But you never know.
                        I live with my daughter and her 2 daughters (10 and 18)
                        so I am used to a bit of noise LOL.

                            Yes I checked via Google where Berkshire is. My
                            dream would be to visit Sheffield and the Star
                            Snooker Academy. Maybe one day.

                              After looking to tournament tree I take some conclusions:

                              - Murphy has an accessible way until quarter final where should play Bingham;
                              - Maguire and Higgins also have an accessible way until quarter finals. They will play against each other on quarter finals if nothing strange happens;
                              - Wenbo seems to have accessible way until semi finals, seems a good bet to win tournament and cashout on semi finals;
                              - Hawking also have an accessible way until semi finals, another good bet to win tournament and cashout on semi finals;
                              - Judd Trump will have a tough match on last 16 against Mark Williams.
