    Made me laugh. Great one-liner.

    Odrl, great write-up.
The bitter taste of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

Yeah, at least until tomorrow afternoon.

We're starting on a really high note with Selby-Murphy, I just hope I can get the TV to myself. I hope it doesn't clash with one of the 3000 winter sports we have on at the moment.

Hoping Robbo comes up with the goods this weekend!

Selby and Murphy should be a ripper, think Murhphy will get the win here :P

            Day 1
            Selby vs Murphy
            Bingham vs Fu

It looks like a great day for some interesting
matchups. Murphy has shown some excellent
snooker now that he is playing a more attacking
style and he could easily win this match. Selby
has not looked sharp recently but no player can
            really be counted out.
Bingham has also been playing well and he can
be very consistent and a tough opponent. Fu can
also be a winner here but he hasnt seemed very
focused to me however I wouldnt count him out
            early.
Both matches could go either way I believe and
hopefully there will be some great snooker to
            watch.
I would pick Murphy and Bingham to win.

Odrl that was such a nice write up mate thank you it was nice reading and it has me all excited. maguire allan or bingham will win the masters. I have a feeling it will be an outsider.

Anyone heard more about Murphy's and Robertson's illness that caused them to remove themselves from the ChamLeague earlier in the week?
                        Up the TSF! :snooker:

I am as well...just a half hour until coverage begins. 2 cracking matches to start with today! :snooker:

btw I trust you made a new batch of homebrew for the occasion?

Murphy had a chest infection and there was a write up
                            at http://www.inside-snooker.com/snooke...-day-1-preview

                            No word on Robertson.

I managed to find a decent streaming site, just to confirm, will eurosport 2 be broadcasting the match?

thanks for that, I thought it would be the chest infection thing that has been going round, we have it in your household

hope he is on form and we have a great match

anyway, time to stop typing and start watching
