some tough matches there. Stuart Bingham might be a first round casualty playing Ali Carter in the first round. many 1st time world champions have succumb to the curse of the first round exit the following year.
other match ups with interest Ding V Trump could meet in the second round also Barry Hawkins V O'Sullivan. Selby seems to have an easier draw and if he plays well as he can look forward to a Semi Final on course to meet O'Sullivan again that is of course depending on how well Shaun Murphy does as he is on a Collison course with O'Sullivan in the Qtr. Finals
the top half of the draw is interesting with Robertson , Higgins and the dark horse Stephen Maguire. it might be a good year for Maguire and he could potentially reach the quarter finals and a showdown with Higgins for an all Scottish clash after been knocked out the 1st round the last 3 years.

Yes indeed, some great matches in the first round!
Especially looking forward to the all Scottish clash between Maguire and McManus, and also Trump - Wenbo, Williams - Dott, and Murphy - McGill.
