Modern rate of re-racks - officially stupid.

I know what you mean but also the modern game of wanting get the balls open and one visit wins make players not wanting too much tip tap play, long distance safety is acceptable but tippytappy not wanted

Can anyone explain to me why all players place their cue extension below the table. Instead of on the side table by their chair. I would think it's a bit handier having it there instead of having to grope under the table for it?

With the PTCs in the past with the roll on roll off format the players started bring out their cases and they started putting them by their seats but often in the small cubicles there was not much space. So they were asked by refs to put them under the table and I think it stuck. Some players do put their mini extensions on the table if they have one but most do do the under table.
