I would think that they changed the cloth for the semis and final so that could be the culprit

Seen a black from Williams about 30 minutes ago off it’s spot that moved an inch off line! Only just went in.

Have the officials missed or goofed up the table inspection?

So casual round the table , nothing appears to phase him and he has so much belief in his ability .

Also what happened with Saengkham in the other semi? Did he falter after being 5-2 up or was Williams just too good?

Williams got it back to 5-5 with some pretty quick scoring, so Saengkham didn't really get all that many chances. He had a few in the decider though, but couldn't put anything together.

I don't think Gilbert will beat the World Champion tomorrow. Not over Best-of-19.

Has anyone else noticed the drift on the table? Williams rolled the cue ball from the baulk area towards the pink and it didn’t go straight. Sub standard quality Star tables?

finally got the record done
well done David Gilbert through to only his second final (and that was some years ago) but as he said in interview he has knuckled down instead of being a tractor-driver, so he has a good a chance as any

Looking forward to Noppon vs Mark in just under an hour
