Day looks like his head has gone already, huffing and puffing

Don’t know if it’s just the close cropped view of the table or what, but Ryan Day looks like a giant! I know he’s a tall chap, but he looks about 12 feet tall!
"Kryten, isn't it round about this time of year that your head goes back to the lab for retuning?"

Thought that, when Collier comes into view he looks even bigger, Day is only about 6 foot, maybe Collier is tiny.

There was a shot he was playing into the righ black pocket (a super thin cut) which meant he was close the floor camera on that side, and his size was accentuated even more!

He does act like that in a few matches that I’ve seen him play . I don’t like the way he doesn’t stay down on the shot , jumps up a bit quick . As If he has played the shot badly . Doesn’t ooze confidence around the table if you look at his body language .
Still trying to pot as many balls as i can !

is Ryan still afflicted by a bad problem?
              IIRC he is over 6ft - 6-2 or -3

I noticed something very shiny and transparent like on Day’s cue in between the ferrule and the tip. Is it glue?

I saw that, I think is it just a brand new ferrule -shiny shiny

A titanium ferrule? Looks very shiny for brass.

Both players clearly struggled. The second decider of the day though. Also, this match took almost double the time of the first one. In the end Day made it.

                          "long pot Day" pulls through...
maybe not as exciting as the earlier match but just as enjoyable to watch.
                          phew what a first day

Saw it yesterday and today too. The push on extension doesn’t fit the cue well. Cheap chinese stuff?

No. It's the thin layer of translucent PVC or plastic from a Kamui Clear tip (black tip here for Ryan Day).
