According to wiki he was #1 for 4 weeks in November/December 2012 and 42 days in 2013.

Interesting the comments just made by Neil Foulds that the World Open will be played at a new venue and supposedly it is very similar to the Crucible. Now for many years it has been rumoured that the Chinese have replicated the Crucible to the inch and it has been said that the World Championship could be held there...

My grandmother is visiting today, and despite watching quite a bit of snooker in recent years, she was surprised to learn the guy in the black who walks around the table and takes the balls out of the pockets was the referee. She thought it was "just some servant who is in charge of replacing balls", and that the real referee was sat somewhere away from the table. :smile:

Another dominant performance from Trump in a major final, you can't really argue with those results... He now arguably holds three of the five biggest titles in snooker, and he has climbed to the top of the rankings, so he has finally got to the level many people predicted him to reach. Now, if only someone could convince him to dress a bit more imaginatively... :wink:
