I got Hawkins vs Lisowski, Walden vs Holt and Mark Williams vs Michael White.

    Looking forward to it now.

Got tickets for the afternoon of the 20th for Ronnie and trying to get tickets for the 10am - I'm not a morning person and sheffield's a good hour away by car, but I imagine the reception he'll get when he comes back as reigning champion after a year out of the sport, could well make Jimmy White look unpopular by comparison.

I'll be at various other sessions as well, just been waiting for the qualifiers to be announced so I know who's playing where.

You'll love it. Great atmosphere, and the city just soaks up the snooker.

Funny you say that, the one time I went to The Graduate it was after the Higgins vs Trump final I was at, and Martin Gould was there despite being knocked early. I went for a slash and Martin Gould was in there. The dirty bleeder didn't wash his hands.

I might pop in. Like I say, I tend to prop up the hotel bar, which always has the same replays and stuff on as it's a hotel with lots of snooker fans in. But if there's nobody good to talk to, I might wonder in see what's happening there.

I went to The Brown Bear once to watch some late night boxing. It was a Friday night, and as I remember I was the sad-act in the corner trying to watch telly whilst everybody else was out partying.

Yeah, it's inhumane they can ask you to work whilst The Crucible is on.

My drinking comes in the hotel bar. I'm quite boring like that. Prop up the bar, few pints and discussing the days matches with the other punters there for the snooker.

I think Dott won that year cant remember as I am getting old and I was quite drunk back then as I vaguely remember.
I don't remember any of that. I think that year I was up for the opening day though. So, didn't see the celebrations for the final. It was the first year I'd been.
