    • Great match.

OK southpaw, I'll take a big bite of that humble pie you just baked for me.
It was very tasty though all the same. Well done Luca, classic comeback. TBH I was rooting for him in the final frame.

      Good night all.

          • So, we have a 17-year-old kid, who has made a venue appearance at both the Worlds and the UK, and now, won a match in the UK.
Not to mention that he played the game of a grinder in that win more or less, huh?
            All the way Mark J!!

            • Slightly off topic, but have you seen this video of Luca Brecel making a practice 147 at 12years of age?

              http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UgPuJhXnRHY

He sure had good cue skills at an early age . . .
My favourite players: Walter Lindrum (AUS), Neil Robertson (AUS), Eddie Charlton (AUS), Robby Foldvari (AUS), Vinnie Calabrese (AUS), Jimmy White, Stephen Hendry, Alex Higgins, Ronnie O'Sullivan, Dominic Dale and Barry Hawkins.
              I dream of a 147 (but would be happy with a 100)
