Free ball question

I have hopefully attached a little drawing for you to look at.

My question is, is it a 'Free Ball' ? My own thoughts are that it is.

yep Free ball
as the cue ball will contact the Pink before hitting the extreme edge (to the right) of the Red

Yes, definitely a free ball, as Dean says. To aim for the extreme right edge, the cue ball would hit the pink first.

Happened to me in a frame once, had to convince my opponent that it was a free ball, for him
