It really is "horses for courses" and I'm afraid a fair bit of trial an error.

Thanks for the mention and very nice tip by the way!

The You Tube videos where to answer some of the emails I get so some are long winded as people generally ask for a go slow so they can capture as much as they can as most have never fitted a tip.

I've been trying a few different cues myself over the last few months. There are certain cues I have tried over the various shots where I think most would just get to the next cue but as I'm changing the tip whilst I,m at the club it's quite an eye opener how the cue can then become a player.

I'm not saying the tip makes a non playing cue a player but sometimes you can change the combination and get to where you want to be so don't always stick to your favourite tip when changing a cue as you will probably think the new cue isn't up to it when in fact it might be, you are just stuck on your favourite tip!

I always find it interesting when people say that 'x' is the best tip on the market and that's it! Hmm

We all have a favourite tip but not always sure they match every cue regardless.

There are many decent tips out there that are reliable but I quite like an LT2, a G2/G3 and also a Grand Soft; these are by no means the only decent ones out there but there is just a lot of choice. I will get around to trying thew ADR tips as I have heard nothing but great stuff.

And just because their clothes are faster doesn't mean the tip will fail on slower clothes. More importantly, only the TV tables are 'lightening fast', the other eight outside tables are not. Go with Century Pro Tips.
At least 6 of the current top 10 are not using Century tips

Try Mike Wooldridge Supertip or the ADR147 pressed tip , both very consistent .
