*Total* clearance = starting the break with 15 reds on the table, and finishing it by potting the black.

How can you do that by scoring as little as 37 points?

pot the black as well as the pink at the end
edit: wouldnt work that -because the pink wouldnt be counted as it was a foul shot

Can you explain how you get to 37 or 44 .

Total consecutive clearance : 15 reds 15 yellows and all the colours = 72 .
Still trying to pot as many balls as i can !

Same reasoning as the last question mate - if you pot your first red but the white ball then also knocks in ALL the other reds on the table in the same shot, isn't that 15pts? Then the yellow as a colour then all the colours - that makes 44 I think. Not sure about how to get it down to 37 though lol )
                        Is this a question...? Discuss.

i think i got it... upon potting the pink you are on 37, then you pot the black and go in-off! so 37 to you and 7 to your opponent! that's a total clearance too

Targets to beat: -line up 63, 78 (Nov 2012)- -practice match 67 (Nov 2012)- -competition 33 (Oct 2011)-

Thanks for the reply , i was not thinking 'outside the box '! . My reasoning for 72 ......i was in the real world

That's NOT a total clearance though, as a total clearance is defined as the legal potting of every ball on the table at the start of the frame, well certainly that is what is implied by the phrase
