Awful choke from Ronnie. How many matches has he gifted to Selby and Higgins by choking? Too many, that's for sure.

Whoa there, not at all a Britisher bashing Selby. Well, not only the British

Exactly! Then a debate can start if these two meet in that as well which would make things interesting yet again...

Lets not get carried away peeps, Ronnie was poor on Sunday, Selby not much better but did merit his win in the final, it's a best of 7 and any top player can beat another on any given day, can't gain anything from this apart from a little cash injection and some practice, the test will come in the bigger events namely the U.K coming up shortly...

Selby won this match on merit, he had five 50+ breaks compared to Ronnie's two. and a 126 too.
to come back from 3-1 down against a player like Ronnie is commendable. Ronnie had his chances and had first chance in the final frame before missing the black of its spot, i give credit where credit is due.

as for Ronnie if he finds Selby his Nemesis, it is up to him to find a way to beat him.

There seems to be this idea that to beat Ronnie you have to play the same style as him, only better. Mark Selby has his own style, and if Ronnie (or anybody else come to that) doesn't like playing him or struggles against that particular, that's not Selby's problem. What should he do? Say; "Sorry. I'll change my style, to maximise your chances of beating me."
his 'style' is mostly about gamesmanship, time wasting and putting off his opponents using toxic tactics. which is exactly what graeme dott went on the record saying in the link i provided. not only ronnie (although he has proven to be more susceptible than others) but most other players would prefer playing a normal game w/o the characteristics outlined above

Exactly, he is a multiple title winner and former World No1 so he's doing something right.

I think he is very interested in playing and beating Selby everytime he gets the opportunity
