        No it will probably be in the slot which The Malta Cup would be in at the start of the month as it is only a (Invitational) 1 week event.

        But this would mean that the rumored return of The Malta cup is either not on the cards or set for another date.

                      there are going to be 6 wildcards for that specific event for indian players, and other than that world snooker is offering 2 wildcards to indian players for the next main tour, aditya mehta has already been confirmed as one wildcard by virtue of being runner up at the asian championship the other is yet to be decided.

                          As someone has already mentioned above, it's just wild card entries to the Last 32 of this specific event, not the tour as a whole.
